His name is Bradley Harrison Picklesimer, born in Lexington Kentucky. His father Francis Marion Picklesimer was a nightclub owner and entrepreneur and owned Tennessee Walking Horses. Growing up in the Bluegrass, Bradley always had his head in the clouds. Even as a young boy, Bradley was able to create something out of nothing (he often heard the term, “A Sows ear to a Silk Purse”). He started decorating parties at age 14 with simple items commonly found. His love of decorating continued as he found himself doing parties for Kentucky Educational Television and Lexington socialites. Bradley also was the proprietor of several of Lexington’s more outrageous nightclubs, with a brief stint as lead singer in a rock and roll band. Dreaming of bigger pastures, he worked in Palm Beach, Florida, New York City and Europe. Now, in Los Angeles for almost 20 years, he has created events for Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Billy Jean King, Ellen Degeneres and the Osbourne’s, just to name a few. However, his heart still remains in Kentucky. Bradley is fortunate enough to have a small cabin and farm in Eastern Kentucky one hollow over from Butcher Hollow, where Loretta Lynn was born (the only living celebrity he really wants to meet). The dream of every Kentucky boy is of course to be involved with Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby. It truly is an honor and a privilege to be a part of such a great institution. Bradley is thrilled to be able to come home and bring some Hollywood glamour to his fellow Kentuckians. Bradley looks forward to spending more time in his home state doing more parties, weddings and events.
